I watched several videos on YouTube about trigger disassembly and polishing. I didn't use anything abrasive, just Flitz metal polish and felt polishing bits in a Dremel tool. This year, I built two 10/22 triggers in vintage factory metal trigger housings. In the first one, I got a Ruger BX trigger from S&P and then transplanted the internals to a metal housing after internal polishing. It works perfectly, and I even kept the red plastic trigger blade because I like the way it feels.
